Who Needs a Journal?

Children

What better time to begin the journaling process for an individual than infancy. The doctors will maintain their injection and well-baby visits history but the parents should also maintain their own history. The journal will provide a record that could be used in analysis to determine if a second opinion should be sought to remedy long-term or reoccurring illness.

Teens

Teens face a myriad of social pressures and biological changes that may affect their physical and mental health. Teens should be encouraged to keep a journal of these life changing events but if unwilling to do so the parent can record their impressions of the events. Girls would record their moods during PMS and menses.

Adults

A woman’s life is a journey within itself. A journey for which physical change brings about extreme hormonal imbalance. From the first menstrual period to pregnancy, pre-menopause, menopause, post menopause there is a never-ending roller coaster of emotions and symptoms.

A man can also experience hormonal imbalance and there are certainly other health issues that would prompt a man to monitor his health conditions.
